Services available include:

Disk space from 100MB up.

Data transfer from 5GB (5000MB) per month.

Web-based email (especially useful for travelling).

Subdomains (for example books.yourdomain.com) if required.

Multiple email addresses (sales@yourdomain.com, info@yourdomain.com): minimum of 20 available

Email forwarding (email to one address goes to another address, either on our server or elsewhere)

Email aliases (email to sales@yourdomain.com goes into the john@yourdomain.com mailbox).

Autoresponders (email to such as guidelines@yourdomain.com gets an automatic immediate response with the original email kept, if you wish, for reference or followup)

Mailing lists (run a small-scale discussion group on line or limit it to outgoing only and have an email newsletter).

FTP account (for uploading web site updates using an FTP program or a website creation program such as Dreamweaver or GoLive etc).

Backup (accounts are backed up once every 24 hours)

Spam limitation (MailScanner is installed which works in conjunction with SpamAssassin to give multiple degrees of control in stopping spam)

Links validation: At intervals related to the activity on your account we will run a links validation check on your web page and email you a report on broken links. You can request occasional additional checks at no extra cost (a good idea after you have made changes).

CGI scripts (include forms which enable info to be sent to you from the web site and many more automatic options).

ControlPanel (an individual ControlPanel is available for you to make direct adjustments to the way your site is run but with least used options removed to keep it simple; they can be added as needed).

FrontPage Extensions (installed on request so you can use the FrontPage program for site updating and management)

Statistics (AWStats is automatically installed, plus, you have access to raw server logs, recent visitor log, error log etc.)

File Manager (to check and control your files on your site) though we suggest you use an FTP program.

Custom error pages (so you can catch many of those people who mistype page names in the browser or click on a link elsewhere to a file which no longer exists; they get your page, not a generic one).

Uptime: Many hosts offer an uptime guarantee, but we do something about it. Access to the server is checked every 5 minutes, and if there is a problem, technicians are automatically alerted.

And much more can be made available on request. While we do not guarantee to support everything you may want, we will usually be able to direct you to where you can find out how to do it.

We now have an advice page on robots.txt, a small file which can welcome search engine robots, telling them if there are any places they should not go.
